Through the years our turf farmers have have grown turf at multiple locations across Wiltshire. Our team have grown turf at Lydiard in Swindon, at Clyffe Pypard near Royal Wootton Bassett and our long standing base at Heddington by Calne. This turf is dispatched to every town and village in the county.
Growing turf is a science. Just as a baker knows finding the right blend of ingredients is essential, our farmers have spent a generation perfecting our seed mix. A pinch of perennial rye and a dash of creeping fescues create a myriad of different outcomes. These include shade and drought tolerance, improved drainage and ornamental results.
Regular
Our Regular grade is durable, reliable and great value for money. For these reasons, this grade has been dispatched on an industrial scale to new housing developments in Wiltshire. It’s ideal for families and endures pets, ball games and a healthy degree of foot traffic providing excellent VFM for years to come.
Evergreen
Not to be overshadowed by its Regular cousin, our Evergreen seed mix is more shade tolerant, rich and ornamental. This seed mix has been unfurled on golf courses, famous country estates and to clients who value rich, ornamental lawns. This grade is sold at a slightly higher price.
Please note, our prices may be adjusted through the year and our grades will vary during seasonal extremes. Turf during the winter, will vary from turf dispatched in the height of summer.
